My dad always claimed that my first words were "That's not fair!"

I really don't like injustice and would find it hard to stand by and watch someone being deprived of their rights.

I recognize that there are many ways and strategies to fight injustice and honor everyone who is doing this important work.

These days, my work is often focused on working with other white folks to find their sources and positions of power and to use that power to remove injustice. Sometimes (often), that means letting go of power. Being guided by people who know more about the experience of injustice.

My role here is to support the expertise and wisdom of the founder and the board of Transforming Futures.
